Marco Columbro, actor and television show-man has been for twenty-five years cultivating an interest in everything related to research and spiritual practice.

In the early 70′s he began to be interested in spiritual quest with his first teacher, Mercedes Salimei in anthroposophy. He was then initiated into the “Esoteric Christianity” and “Science of the Spirit” by Rudolf Steiner. In those years he got engaged with alternative medicine, ecology and organic farming. In 1991 met Gangchen Rinpoche, a Tibetan Lama Healer who introduced him to Tibetan Buddhism. With him he made several trips to India, where he met the Dalai Lama and Tibet .From these trips  two documentaries were produced, The Land of the Golden Roof and The Light of Buddha.  A dedicated video interview with the Dalai Lama , The Smile of Wisdom, and two videos that are two guided meditations by Lama Gangchen Tantric Self-Healing and Self-Healing for the environment.
